Sandy and her husband, Phil, have been members of St. Luke since 1984. Sandy has served in a variety of volunteer positions at St. Luke, but joined the staff in Spring 1998 as a part-time bookkeeper. As ministry at St. Luke has grown, so has Sandy’s position on staff. In 2006, the position transitioned to a full-time Church Administrator. Previously, Sandy held positions in office management and bookkeeping for physician’s clinics.

Sandy was born in Seattle, Washington and has one younger brother. She is a graduate of Evergreen High School in south Seattle (1977) and Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA (1981). Sandy and Phil met at P.L.U. and married in 1982. They have two daughters who are both at the University of Washington.

Sandy celebrates time with family and friends, playing the piano, cooking and baking, reading, camping, and quiet time on the beach or in the mountains. She is a baptized Lutheran Christian from infancy and loves her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Sandy is a champion for assisting God’s people in their ministries at St. Luke and in the community.
