In September of 2008 Jim filled the position of full-time
Worship Coordinator. He has been the contemporary worship coordinator at St. Luke Lutheran since
July 2006, and has worked with the youth of St. Luke since 2004. Together
they have formed the Elevation Praise
Band
and lead the contemporary worship service. Jim has been professionally
teaching music since 1993 and occasionally plays live music in a variety of
bands.
Jim was born in 1967 (the year the Red Sox went to the World Series), grew up in
Spokane and graduated from North Central High School in 1986 (the year the Red
Sox went to the World Series) and began a youth led worship in 2004 (the year
the Red Sox won the World Series).
Jim has been a Lutheran since birth. His parents always took him, along with his
older sister and younger brother to church most every Sunday. Attending camp
Lutherhaven and VBS was also an important part of growing up.
Jim is married and has two children. He loves the Lord and spending time
vacationing with his family. He enjoys music, sports, anything funny and a
really good steak...medium rare. Jim is a
champion
for worshiping the Lord through music.
